Jake Worrell

Executive Director

Jake has a strong work ethic and passion to grow programs, passionately invest in the younger generation, coaches and parents to become influencers of change on and off the field. As a former college athlete and current high school baseball coach, Jake brings unmatched experience and purpose to help change the atmosphere and culture of youth sports, so that they can truly understand what it means to become a GameChanger. Worrell, a proud St. Louis native, founded a small non-profit organization called Iron Impact, which has a similar mission to impact youth sports. When not on the baseball diamond, you're likely to find him spending time with family or in a deer stand. 

Nolan Brunnworth

Director of Development

A proud St. Louis native, Nolan connects and engages the individual and collective passions of philanthropists with projects that allow them to impact their communities for the better. His experience includes creating and executing development programs at Southeast Missouri State University and Missouri University of Science and Technology. Nolan has a drive for enabling youth to discover and maximize their potential.

Dave Peacock

Board Chairman

Dave is also the chairman of the St. Louis Sports Commission and member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame Board of Trustees and a member of St. Louis’ CityArchRiver Board. Peacock’s Vitaligent, LLC is Jamba Juice’s largest franchisee and most recently, Dave was named the President and COO of Schnucks Markets, Inc.


Rick Sems

Rick is the President of the MidWest Region at First Bank. In this role he has responsibility for the Bank’s commercial banking function for the Midwest Region Area including the Health Care Vertical.



Michael Clithero

Vice President
Mike is an original founding Board Member of BASE in 2006. Mike has been a litigation attorney for 35+ years, currently at Lathrop Gage. As a longtime coach of many of his sons' teams, Mike saw a tremendous need and opportunity to provide character and values-based education for young athletes.


John Herber

John is the Chairman and Managing Partner of RubinBrown where he serves clients in the manufacturing and distribution industries and provides business and estate tax planning services. Herber also serves as a board member of the St. John’s Mercy Hospital Foundation, member of the United Way de Tocqueville Society, and former President of St. Patrick’s Center.



Beth Schulte


Beth is a Principal at UHY LLP, where she is responsible for business development and selling professional services to organizations and individuals, in addition to providing financial consulting services. Beth also serves as a co-professor and is an executive advisory board member of the Richard A. Chaifetz of School of Business at St. Louis University.


Galen Bingham

Galen is a St. Louis-based keynote speaker, coach and leadership strategist with 3 decades of business experience with Fortune 100 corporations including The Coca-Cola Company and Kraft Foods. Galen’s board leadership also includes roles with St. Louis Zoo, St. Patrick Center, SSM Health Cardinal Glennon Children’s Hospital and the International Institute of St. Louis.

Jack Stapleton

Jack is a wealth management consultant for The Commerce Trust Company. Jack also volunteers his time on boards for the St. Louis Children’s Hospital Foundation, the St. Louis Sports Commission, the Children’s Miracle Network Hospitals of St. Louis, the Association of US Army Executive, the Eunice Kennedy Shriver CCPRN NIH and the Boston College Alumni Chapter.

Jim Enright

Jim is Senior Vice President of business development and marketing at LockerDome, an ad tech that optimizes ROI in real time, works with thousands of brands and media companies, reaching an audience of millions while serving as on of our board members.


Tina Buck-Harth
After working for the Illinois Senate for three years, Tina opened her own indoor baseball and softball training facility in Springfield, IL – Buck Fastpitch Academy. As a participant in the original BASE workshops, Tina is now giving back to the game as a Board Member.


Jeff Wolff
Jeff joined Anchor Packaging Inc. as President in 2001. He is responsible for managing all aspects of Anchor Packaging’s global business. Throughout his career he has been actively involved in the United Way and the YMCA. He has also coached youth soccer, baseball, basketball and softball.   



Dan Murray
Dan is one of the founding Board Members of the BASE Foundation. Retired from a long career with Equifax, Dan now works with Big Sports Properties to build the POWERPlex in St. Louis. Dan has also served on the board of directors for a local youth athletic association for 15+ years.

Bob Leonard
Bob heads up the Gatesworth Senior Living Communities. Bob has served as past President of CBC’s Board, St. Patrick Center, Cardinal Glennon, Ascension School and also served many years ago on the Chesterfield Athletic Association when they built the new ballparks in the early 2000’s.


Tim Murphy
Tim is a seasoned executive with a strong retail background in the hospitality industry. Aside from his role as one of our board members, Tim currently teaches an MBA-level course on entrepreneurship and innovation at St. Louis University. 

Todd Zell

Todd is a education professional with over 23 years of experience. His background includes 10 years as an athletic/activities director in both public and private high schools. Also, Todd has coached a variety of different sports like basketball, baseball, softball, and golf. He is passionate about mentoring coaches and less experienced athletic directors. Committed to helping them provide transformational, not just transactional experiences for the athletes.
